As of tomorrow (1.22) I’m being promoted to a giant walking boot/cast and a cane. While the boot is obviously made for walkin’, Nancy Sinatra isn’t involved in my new foot constraint. Should be interesting to get around with a cane and “she” already is helpful enough to have garnered the name “Sugar”.
On another topic, the Black and White Winter class begins on Saturday, February 3rd and runs for 3 weeks. Just 6 places remain so don’t wait to enroll. It’s the first in-person class of ’24 and I’m anxious to return to the CBG to reconnect with students I know plus meet new ones. People have already offered to help with my mobility when we’re out to take pictures, so I’m certain a grand time will be had by everyone. In response to several inquiries, YES there will be a Browniefest! Check out the syllabus to see the great photo venues we’ll be visiting.
