The Grove is a National Historic Landmark site here in Glenview that may be new to many of you. The focal point of the 123 acre natural wetland site is the Kennicott House. In addition to this Gothic Revival house from 1856, there are several other buildings that have been erected on the grounds since the house itself was given landmark status in 1976. I’ve included just a few images of some buildings and grounds. What a wonderful site for a photography class! Our next class: “Photographing the Bare Bones of Winter” begins on January 26, from 9 – 12 noon. Please consider joining us in this very unique setting. Visit glenviewparks.org /programs to enroll.
