Manual focus controls sharpness.
Use manual focus to place the depth-of-field (D-o-F) sharpness wherever you think it’s best for the scene. I used our old friend f8 and focused on (what else?) the flowers. I actually prefer the sharpness to begin at the edge of the frame, but you may like the scene to look like this. Some people enjoy eating liver. Draw your own conclusions.
