Last week, I had the good fortune to spend some time conversing with the guys at APS, the Nikon repair store in Morton Grove. True, having a lens repaired on December 23 was not really in my budget, but we discussed the possibility of Nikon USA withdrawing their support of this local and vital service. The staff still has no clue as to whether (or not) corporate will keep their doors open. They expect a decision sometime in January. IF Nikon removes the required software and tools, this place is history.
