Dial up shutter speed and dial down exposure comp to hold down light level.
Here’s a shot that I took on my way to teach a class at the Chicago Botanic Garden yesterday about 7:45 am CDT.
The sprinklers were on the grass areas surrounding Spider Island, the sun was out so I thought it would be a perfect time to grab a shot and under-expose the entire scene.
Here is the camera info, and yes the shutter speed was 1/1250, f8, exp. comp -1.3, ISO 64, 18mm lens, polarizing filter, no tripod.
Hope to see you soon for more camera fun!
Jack
