Think flash is only good for inside people shots? You’re not wrong or completely right. I use it quite often outside to even out the light in any scene. Why not join us to learn the secrets of how to use your flash to brighten any subject while not letting the viewer know that you’ve done so. You’ll learn how to add just a touch of light through bouncing, diffusing and dialing it down. This class meets for 3 Fridays (4.22–5.6) at the Chicago Botanic Garden. The 9 am start time will permit us to find subjects in Regenstein Center as well as outside in the gardens around the building. If you currently have an off-camera flash bring it to class with you. If your flash is the one that’s built-in to the camera, you’re all set and won’t need to buy a flash unless you’ve been waiting for this opportunity. TO register, visit www.chicagobotanic.org/adulted and scroll down to photography. It’s listed there.
