Time to Photograph the Great Basin of the CBG

September 11, 2025 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Photographing the Great Basin

Serpentine Bridge in the Great Basin from the West Road.

The Great Basin includes 81 acres of water surrounded by 5.6 miles of shoreline. This class will explore the Great Basin in addition to the North Lake. These are areas of particular biodiversity in the early fall. Join us to  find new photographic venues that provide previously unseen perspectives of the Garden. Students should have a working knowledge of their cameras. Tripods strongly encouraged. Class is limited to DSLR or mirrorless cameras. To enroll visit chicagobotanic.org/adulted. Then click on the Photography section and scroll down to the class.
