The Ins and Outs of Flash starts April 15

Add just a pinch of flash to brighten the color.

Students often wonder when, why and if they should use flash–especially when they are outside. I suggest they always have a flash at the ready. If not, I use a fast lens wide open. My main goal is to add just enough light to brighten a scene without the added light becoming noticeable in the image. There are many ways to make that happen which is why this class meets 3 times. It’s best if  a. you currently own a flash or have one built in to your camera and b. you have a working knowledge of camera controls and settings. This class is always a favorite and the 3 meetings go by in a ….. The class is limited to DSLR or Mirrorless cameras only and on-camera or external flash units.
