Photographing the Orchid Show — Sundays

The CBG’s 2019 Orchid Show In the Tropics, will be a riot of color and form. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to get images of these wonderful plants. Since our class will be admitted to the show at 8:30 am (90 minutes before it opens to the public) we will be able to use tripods and flash units to capture orchids in all their splendor. There are a great many areas of the show, so each class meeting will begin with a powerpoint of the area we will be exploring that week. Of course, there will be handouts on camera settings and focusing techniques in addition. After photographing the show , we’ll return to the classroom to enjoy your pictures from the previous week. This show is always a favorite and the class fills fast. Don’t wait to enroll. As always, there are 3 Ways to Register:
