Orchid Show classes: A really fun learning experience
It’s Back: The highly-awaited Orchid Show returns to the Chicago Botanic Garden this spring, and we’ll be there to photograph it! Each of our 3 class meetings will find us exploring a different portion of the sights and colors that make this show such a pleasure to photograph. Yes, a macro lens and tripod are your friends each week, but an off-camera/external flash is also a key ingredient in the mix.
Both the Wednesday class and the Sunday class begin at 8 am so we can take our tripod with us. Each class sells out and the odds of a wait list opening for you are about the same as getting a winning Powerball ticket from your local convenience store. Class capacity is limited so don’t wait! Register today to secure a place.
I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have about appropriate photo gear, so send them to me–jack@jackcarlsonphotos.com. Photographing Orchids, February 27 — March 13 (3 Sun
