There are hundreds of orchids just waiting to be photographed this year’s Orchid Show at the Chicago Botanic Garden so why not devote 3 Wednesday mornings to doing just that? Both macro and non-macro lenses are welcome! With an 8 am start time, our class has been granted special pre-opening access to the show which allows us to enter with tripods. Each of the 3 different areas of the show will be introduced with handouts (emailed before class meets) and a powerpoint in the classroom. Then we’re off to see that part of the show. It’s great fun and you’re certain to get keeper images each week.
The Sunday edition of this class is completely sold out and spaces for this Wednesday meeting are already going fast. Don’t wait to enroll. Visit www.chicagobotanic.org/adulted. Then scroll down to photography and you’ll see the listing. Send a note to me if you have questions. See you in the Plant Science Lab at 8 am on Wednesdays, March 8,15 and 22.
