Photograph your flying friends on June 9.
Butterflies like blooms and you will like them both as we enjoy time with them in this one-off seasonal favorite. We begin in the classroom with a discussion on useful camera settings with and without a tripod. We’ll also cover how and when to use flash to brighten those shady areas of this special enclosure. You’re sure to go home with great shots of these illusive insects that are members of the Lepidoptera family which also includes moths. Then we’re off to photograph the butterflies and blooms in morning light. This class begins at 8 am so we can take advantage of both the light and temperature of an early June day. Yes, tripods are welcome. The class is limited to DSLR or Mirrorless cameras only. To register visit chicagobotanic.org/adulted. Then scroll down to the class.
