NEW! Sunrise Photography at the Beach

A moment before the sun rises over Lake Michigan.

There’s no better time to bring a camera to a beach then when the sun is about to show itself over the water line. Our first class meeting will be held at The Garden where we’ll have an orientation session, then proceed to the top of Waterfall Hill to practice photographing the rising sun. On September 27 and October 4  we will meet on two selected area beaches at 6 am for the sunrise shoot. Our 4th class meeting will be back at The Garden at 9 am where we will enjoy student images that were captured during the time on the beaches. A medium length telephoto lens and tripod/monopod are essential for this class. Note: DLSR cameras only, please.
