New! Natural Patterns of Foliage Starts August 17

August 17, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 11:00 am

Foliage patterns aren’t often this hard to find.

Here’s a new class that’s certain to peak your interest and perk up your photos. Since foliage comes in many shapes, sizes, colors and textures, just think of the great time you’ll have learning to define them, then find and photography each week’s subjects. Going for great color? In this class, not so much since it’s all about shapes and (who’d guess) patterns. Several spots remain although the class if more than 1/2 full as you read this. Here’s another SATURDAY class, so complaints on the lack of them will not be acknowledged.

Many students have asked whether a macro lens is required for this class. No macro lens required but certainly bring one if you own it. There are alternatives to a macro/micro lens that are less expensive and will let you keep your car. We’ll discuss these in class. One thing though:  There’s a really strong recommendation for a tripod. I’ll bet you know how many ways there are to register for a class. Remember: This class begins at 8 am.

Now with 3 Ways to Register
1. Call 847.835.8261 during business hours
2. Visit www.chicagobotanic.org/education
3. Membership and Info Desk staff are now able to take registrations during periods of relative calm.
