Butterflies and Blooms Workshop–June 21st

Every spring and summer, the Chicago Botanic Garden presents a vast assortment of butterflies and plant material in a special area that was designed just for them. Capture the colorful beauty of the butterflies. The only time tripods are permitted in the enclosure is during this one-off class. You won’t want to miss this opportunity that begins in the classroom, then proceeds outside to photograph the butterflies. Learn the best camera settings, and focal lengths for these often timid creatures. Fill-flash is good to use for these subjects so we’ll provide tips on how to add light with flash–both built-in and off-camera. This class is a one-off and fills up fast.
