Autumn is a perfect time to explore the Volo Bog with cameras so we can get great shots of the tamaracks in full color. We’ll meet at the Visitor Center where naturalists will explain the what, where and how the only quaking bog in Illinois was formed and continues to exist. Then it’s outside with cameras to photograph this exciting one-of-a-kind area. LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED. After lunch, we’re back out to visit the other trail that winds all around the bog perimeter.
Picture review (with Browniefest, of course) will be held at the CBG on Thursday, November 8th from 9-12. What an enjoyable morning it is to check out fellow students photographic decisions on just how to capture a scene. You won’t want to miss this class that’s now become an annual event.
