Autumn Photo Shoot at Volo Bog on November 5

The heart of Volo Bog.

Yes it’s back! Our annual trip to the Volo Bog in (where else?) Volo, Il. This single-day class is always great fun. We begin at 9 am in the classroom of the Visitor Center with introductory powerpoints onf light levels, focal lengths and of course, the bog itself. Then we’re out for a guided tour of the bog. There are plenty of stops along the way that are perfect photo opps. Once we’re back in the classroom, you can enjoy the lunch that you brought while we discuss photos and camera gear. The afternoon is devoted to exploring the Tamarac View Trail on your own or in groups. Tripods can be left in the classroom during the morning tour but are useful during the self-guided afternoon.
