Yes, I know. It’s a thankless job: Getting a speaker for each month that your club meets and hoping that the budget holds. Finding a potential speaker is only a portion of the problem. Then you have to hope that you’ll get a return call from the message you left. If that’s your job description, hope is available. I’ve just booked 3 garden club speaking engagements this week. Discussing the program needs with the coordinator has resulted in 3 slightly different programs as determined by the needs of each club. No cameras? No problem.
